How a visit is recorded
- At the client's place, the employee starts a visit on the app with the client or site name, and the purpose if needed.
- The app saves the location and time. A visit cannot start without the location.
- If your rules ask for it, the employee takes a photo at the site.
- After the meeting, the employee ends the visit with a note. The end location and time are saved too.
- Only one visit can be open at a time, so the next visit starts after the last one ends.
How it works with attendance
Field visits work alongside HR Bingo attendance. Staff clock in for the day, then log each visit. Managers see the team's visits on the web, filtered by person, client or date. Travel can be claimed through expense claims at your per-km rate.
Clients and leads
Each client or lead has a contact person, phone, email, city and an owner in your team. Leads are marked New, Contacted, Won or Lost, and clients Active or Inactive. Visits linked to a client or lead stay with it, so the history of meetings is in one place.
Who uses it
Sales teams of distributors and manufacturers, service engineers who go to customer sites, and staff who visit several places in a day. Field visits are part of the CRM module and are switched on per company.
Frequently asked questions
Is this live location tracking?
No. Visits record the location at check-in and check-out. Live location tracking is planned as a separate add-on.
Do staff have to take a photo at every visit?
You decide. The visit photo can be off, optional or required for the whole company.
Can a visit be started without location?
No. The app needs the phone's location to start a visit. If location is off, it asks the employee to turn it on and try again.
